Well⦠itās Sunday, and Iām currently sitting here trying to piece together the events of last night with Dolores ā and let me tell you, it was a night.
We kicked things off at the Beer Hut Brewing Co because obviously, thatās where any proper Saturday in Kilkeel begins. Itās not just a taproom ā itās a mission to shop local and support brilliant people doing great things. The founders are absolute legends ā the kind of folks whoāll pour you a pint, remember your name, and make you feel like family. And the beer and the hand crafted pizza⦠Letās just say it was dangerously easy to enjoy. Support them if you can ā Kilkeelās lucky to have them!
After that, we somehow rolled our way to the Kilmorey Arms, where the craic continued. Met some lovely people who told me I donāt post on the blog enough ā fair point, because itās been a while! Apparently, people actually read the thing, which is both flattering and mildly terrifying š
Iāll be honest ā I struggle sometimes with the whole weight thing, I am a fat boy that can knock my confidence. But Iām trying my best. Lifeās about balance, and if that means a few beers, a few laughs, and a few questionable dance moves along the way, then so be it. Nights like that remind me that itās okay to just live a little.
So yes ā I might be slightly dying today, fuelled by coffee and the promise of a fry, but it was worth every minute.
Hereās to the Beer Hut, the Kilmorey Arms, good friends, and even better stories. And since a few of you told me to keep the blog going ā consider this post me trying to do better. You asked, I delivered (with a slight hangover). š šŗ

Was great to see you both & the craic was good!! Ps you are not fat!!! I thought you looked great! So funny that my daddy didnāt even recognize Dolores sheās lost so much weight & he says she looks quare & well! Hope the heads were ok Sunday morning lol
